A couple first impressions of Fuego. Great service, low lighting, orange menus. Great atmosphere, no rush, just good food and good company. I tried their Abondigas first. 4 small meatballs came out a modest platter and simply said: ‘Eat me, but only if you really want to.’ These were comfortable meatballs. Tucked away in a blanket of spiced tomato sauce. I felt so inclined to wake my meatballs up and have a taste. They were delicious! Small, but filling. Next I tried the pork medallions. The sauce on top was a little bland, but it’s hard to live in the shadows of the meatballs, I get it. They were good, but just like parents we all have a favorite kid.
I decided to finish it with a classy drink, a mudslide. Ok not classy, but entertaining to the senses. Whip cream effortlessly floating on alcoholic chocolate frothy goodness… It’s a girls dream. (well mine at least)
It was a good night. Now if they could only change theenu color so I can read it!
Cheers!
